Habib Ibrahim El-Adly (Arabic: حبيب إبراهيم العادلي, pronounced[ħæˈbiːbebɾɑˈhiːmelˈʕædli]; born 1 March )^[1] is a former Egyptian politician. He served as interior minister of Egypt from November to January He was the longest serving interior minister under President Hosni Mubarak.^[2]

Following the Egyptian revolution, Adly was convicted of corruption and conspiring to kill protestors and was sentenced to life in prison. This conviction was later dropped.
