From the first moment Iohna Loots and Craig Mercer booked me to photograph their wedding I was excited. This was a couple who I knew were going to be amazing to work with and I was not wrong!!
I was so happy when I awoke on Saturday to see that the sun was shining - I had it made! Iohna and Craig opted for a civil ceremony just them, and myself and Jesse my assistant were witnesses. With no guests to worry about we shot at two amazing locations close to Gretna Green and we had a fabulous time.
Iohna who is a top class ballet dancer (she performed for Michelle Obama the other week!) with the London Royal Ballet was just an amazing person to photograph, she and her husband laughed all day long and their love for each other has shone through in their photographs. The birds sang, the sun shined and after the shoot Iohna and Craig headed off to the Lake District for a romantic weekend together.
