Romy Mallari was the other half in the most durable reel and real life love team in showbiz history -- the Romy-Perla (Adea) tandem.

He was a singer-actor, who became famous during the salad years of "bang-shang-a-lang," when the country's only known cure for fever was Cortal and the make-up used by the ladies was Fanbo.
